And, just for Women's Month/Day whatever.... 8)

Interview with Gwynne Shotwell -COO of SpaceX.
Very interesting and fun interview.

-great video montage of Starship Flight 4 at around 18 min.

Shotwell is clearly a very smart and unassuming woman -and she looks like she's a pleasure to work with.
Don't think Elon and SpaceX could've done without her.

Congratulations on all the success!

SpaceX is involved in another public/political fight with the FAA to get things approved faster, but it is still just dragging on.

SpaceX has started publishing NOTAMs for a launch window next week (starting Sunday), but the FAA quickly chimed in to say they don't expect the license to be issued before end November...

Will be interesting to see what the outcome is. SpaceX has flight 5 and 6 hardware ready to fly, and flight 7 undergoing final testing.

Elon just appeared on stage in support of Trump

you can bet your bottom dollar the FAA will do everything it can to throw spanners in the works for SpaceX!

Won't be long now, and SpaceX will have a much smoother ride towards Mars! 8)

A Mexican airspace NOTUM was handed out by the FAA for the 13th.

FTS charges were installed yesterday, so seems like there is a real likelihood of a launch on Sunday.

From what I can tell, SpaceX received a temporary environmental exemption for using the water deluge system - which seems to have been the licensing hold up. With this in place, the license could well be issued before Sunday.

What is new, is that they will try and catch the Heavy booster with what SpaceX calls "chopsticks"... below an animation, from the CNN article...

The Starship team is go for prop load, and weather is looking ideal for today's flight test!

The launch webcast will go live ~35 minutes ahead of liftoff which is currently targeted for 7:25am CT
