Jabiru J170 elevator control

Hi Guys,
I have a J170 that has developed stiff elevator free movement.
Is this cable lubrication or to do with trim connection.
If it is lubrication how would one go about it.

Sorry for the drift, can anyone explain to me how the elevator trim works in the Jab?
I only have 5 hours in the Jab from 2 years ago, and I was told that the trim works by applying spring or bungee pressure to the elevator cable..... Is this true?

Yes, is uses a spring offset trim system. The Trim offset can be adjusted as illustrated below:-
