Hi all,
Jabi docs say to get a ZFF0002 fuel filter, but Midas does not recognize the code. Does anyone have the local code for me?

As you know Jabbies are "not standard" 
but have a look at a Fram G1R....thats what's in my "emergency" spares kid. 
on the same note the engine oil filter is a Fram PH4967. .....same source

I use a GUD Z29/5 fuel filter.
A little tip, stay away from the "universal" fuel filters that have 2 sizes, the ones where you cut of the smaller barbs if you have the bigger bore pipe, when you cut off the smaller barb the internal hole that is left in the plastic barb is still smaller than the hole in the correct filter. I have checked both types and found the GUD Z29/5 has the correct barb size with the larger inlet/outlet pipe internal diameter.
GUD Z29/5 are available from Midas and are cheap, I normally buy a bunch of them and change them regularly.

Hi Andre, just a safety tip... whatever fuel filter you use... make sure it has the raised bevel on the tips of the pipes so that you can push the fuel hose over and put the fuel hose clamps behind the bevel to secure it.
I took my plane in for a service and they fitted a filter which did not have the raised bevel... and in my first flight after the service I smelled fuel in the cockpit and landed just to find that the fuel hose clamps squeezed the filter out of the hose
on both sides it was just the tension of the fuel hose between the firewall and console that kept the pieces kind of together
