Ah, cage, you are too cleva, my man! :)

(I only realised now I gave the game away summat with the tracking capture )

Edit: But just so there's no name confusion between another satellite's device up there (which just happens to have a similar-sounding name), what I've been yamming on about is HawkEye 360. (Hopefully the Mods will forgive me for the naming in this case 8-[)

GL, There is definitely an element of comedy in "Mr Steven" rushing about trying to catch the fairings. Personally, it made me think of a skit I once saw of Buster Keaton (from silent movies era) hilariously rushing about trying to catch something falling. Gotta dig it up again.

Edit (and completely off-topic ): This isn't the skit I'm referring to, but for those who don't know of Buster, here he is as only Buster could do. He was an amazing stuntman as well as a comedian (and no small wonder that he didn't badly injure or kill himself with some of the stunts he did)

It's all very exciting and something of which to be proud; but...

<SA. Go man. Reaching for the Stars> No, hardly! I don't think Mr. Musk remembers anything about where he comes from: which stars are those displayed on the rocket? The stars and stripes, I think! :)

(Whatever mother would call her son "Elon", by the way? Where does that one come from? Is it biblical or something like that?)

 Uh, Christopher, I think Spoke Eagle was referring to me (SlowApproach). And I am definitely reaching for the stars. Not only was the launch a historic occasion being the first dedicated rideshare mission - thanks to Elon's company, but some of the satellites launched will also enable first-of-its-kind RF-based analytics.

So what if Elon is now an "American"? Doesn't bother me one bit - and I don't blame him, either. He would NOT have achieved what he has, under our incredibly risk-averse local business culture.

If Elon's name bothers you, spare a thought for locals who officially named their child "Teaspoon". (Yes, I have seen the person's ID book).

For those who missed the historic launch, here is a recording. It also shows the incredible landing of the rocket's first stage back on the drone ship:
(watch the whole thing on a big screen if you can :))

So while nothing much is happening besides the sats whizzing around the earth and silently collecting data, here's something for your general entertainment. (But who knows, Elon might even one day consider these bamboo rockets for really low-budget launches )

Going well thanks but still a lot of work to do and data to gather before it reaches the actual income-earning stage. So Mrs SA is still not impressed with me at all. In fact, I'm having to think of remodelling the dog house to make it a bit more comfortable for me to sleep in for the duration
