A 2L milk bottle or oros bottle works well.
Pray explain RK. How do you handle all this in flight? Or is the set-up part of your pre-flight?
If you have to land anyway, you may as well come right without the milk bottle.

I used to fly planks until about 2007.

First thing I installed in my Cubby, was a funnel and a pipe leading outside
Heard of a guy back in the day of Rhodesia, he had a funnel fitted into his PA235 with one of those old venturi gyro systems still seen on some old 172's due to a bad bladder...apparently on the first use it sucked his job into it so bad he made an emergency landing.
A battered, tattered todger comes to mind   Methinks a good clean HTH bottle is the way to go, cheap and effective.
Jean.
Or a Stay-Soft Bottle.Bigger opening then 2lit Coke. ( The after effect does not last to long!!)

To answer the original question, yes...you can land at an airport nearby or along the route, simply request to divert for a nature call, land, do your thing, file a new flight plan and off you go again. Same as making an unplanned fuel stop.

In the USA many hiking trails are so populated that you must trek out everything including #2 waste.
In Boy Scouts we use Biffie Bags.
You put it on loosely , a bit like a Nappy . It has a powder inside that you massage afterwards. All self contained.

I see Amazon and Aircraft Spruce both stock them.

50 years ago I flew as flight mechanic / navigator in a Westland Whirlwind ser.3 helicopter from London to Nigeria.
While flying across Mauritania I was caught short and requested an emergency landing.
Bob the pilot was initially not very cooperative and was not keen on landing, but did so after I explained the likely consequences of sharing the cockpit with me for the next few hours.
We put down in the desert, with nobody within 20 miles of us, and I did my business out beyond the tail rotor and Bob's sight.
Handy things helicopters!

On a MAF shuttle flight in the 208B a pax lost control of his bodily functions and sprayed the cabin (the No 2 variety) - then in a semi panic went on to spread it everywhere including in the upholstery - it bordered on becoming a 'full blown' emergency but landed safely and despite professional cleaning the evidence never quite left the aircraft [-o<
