A310/A300? standing at CPT

Unread post by Joker11 » Tue Apr 16, 2019 12:03 pm

Hi everyone,

I can see a Airbus A300/310? standing parked at CPT. Any idea who it belongs to and the story behind it?
In the battle between aeroplanes and the ground. The ground has yet to lose.

Aviation would be great, if it wouldn't be for passengers.

Standing where?

Or perhaps you're referring to the DC-8 used by the rescue services for training?
How come every time my ship comes in I'm at the airport?

A310 is T7-FTH based at Kuwait City. Owner seems to come to George and surrounds every year.

San Marino registered. The below photo taken last year at ORT. Wonder why the Kuwaiti's are visiting George... did they get a whiff of the oil discovery off the coast? 8-[ 8-[ Can't be many A310's still flying around. I know that Air Transat still have a few in service, shortly to be replaced by the A321 LR.

This family and entourage have been coming for a few years now around Easter time...the last 2 years they flew into GRJ with that aircraft and it was standing there the whole time.
Apparently involved (own or have shares) with a game farm in the Klein-Karoo

Thank you everyone for your answer. I couldn't see much of the aircraft type until we took off, when I noticed it was an Airbus A310. Now the mystery has been solved.

BTW what is that apron used for where the aircraft is parked?
