New model from Cubby Aircraft Factory

We are nearing the last phase of a new model from the Cubby Aircraft Factory. This one is a bit more roomy in the front cockpit,an even bigger door than the Cubby MK2, has flaps...actually Slotted Flaps, and has an electically adjustable tailplane for trimmming the aircraft.The main gear legs are longer than the Cubby MK2, making it 150mm longer than the original Cubby.
It will not be much heavier than the Cubby MK2, as we have removed some items , but added some in their place. Maybe 5kg difference.Smaller lighter battery, no trim tab and cable system, in place is a brushless electrical motor.
We plan to be at AERO South Africa, at Wonderboom , from the 4th to the 6th of July , showing our new model frame and wing.
Do come and see us there.
This aircraft will be available in kit form as of July.

We collected the airframe and controls from the powder coaters today, this is the frame we will have on display at Aero South Africa , @ Wonderboom , from 4-6 July.

It was on the Canadian register as C-FMLZ, It has been put in Experimental here as ZU-FGP. We are just busy doing a bit of tidying up on her
I realized that the difference in length between the Renegade and the Clipper is not very much

Thanks Leo, I am glad to have that project done......... not that we did not enjoy it, and the clients were good to deal with.
Now we can start on the Cubby Renegade and the Cubby MK2 build in early part of the new year
