CemAir to resume ops

Unread post by GL »

I see a report from Margate says Cemair is going to start operating again. Head to head with Airlink.
I think it’s incredible determination that Miles is prepared to keep going yet again.

I'm not holding my breath, however I hope they do resume their service - cheaper fares are always welcome. Right now no one is flying to Margate. Not Myles nor Roger.

Apologies Guy. I see from my local newspaper, out just this morning, that the two carriers are indeed contemplating a Margate service from early July. It is a very thin route. I see a pistols-at-dawn scenario. I wonder if both will show up for the showdown?

Love to see them fly again as well, but Miles shouldn't be running the Airline, get someone more competant with weight restriction and occ friendly enviroment.

Houdini......I think you must get your facts right. Seems like you are another ex-Cemair dismissed employee who couldn’t make it.

Houdini you create a new account to express a view on an operation you have no experience of based on hearsay.

Thanx Richard.....The thought crossed my mind as well. He has no idea what went on. CAA played and still is playing a very time consuming game. Sour grapes that they got a very big hiding in all the court cases so far. Still playing games. But they will eventually have to cough up....$$$$......

Would hate to see this thread locked again... so lets all just assume (whether one likes it or not), that since Miles is not going anywhere Miles and Cemair are one in the same....

Good luck to them... lets hope that lessons are learned from both sides and we can see them flying again soon... would be nice to know some more news and make a more constructive discussion of the future of Cemair. They must have their work cut out for them so wish them all the best. One sure cant fault the resilience and fighting spirit of Cemair AND Miles.

Actually calling the OCC card for aviation is my department, I know all too what is required, but looks like my comments will be deleted because admin not age happy as well, sorry us younger guys are exceeding you all so fast, we look up to those who has experience, but we will not keep quiet when it comes to people lives, that should be priority to all airlines, Miles decided not to follow this cause and he paid the price a long time ago, and any employee who actually earned a good salary from him, took his personality and screw over any new comers.

By tomorrow this post will be deleted because like I said, Admin decides the rules, and what posts will suite the many viewers(not us younger guys), I have the greatest respect for the people with experience in aviation, but rather than showing sympothy to someone cause of the Politics in the government and look behind the cuirtans and see what some of these experienced people are hiding.

There is lot more dangerous things going on in this industry and we need to stop giving a blind eye just because we know them, or when they are fighting the "bad guys" even thought they too are doing things that are risking the lives of your families, and inocent people.

So before you delete my post, just see my side of the story and understand that I'm not the only person that feels this way about Miles.

I say bring CemAir back, but with someone that can at least follow the rules, and have their own families at mind, as if they were flying on whatever airline you work for, everyday.
