....I saw, I looked at the beast and I saw men fiddling and fondling at the point side of the beast positioning and fitting that part made with sweat and hard labor - and....it fitted nicely as it should, plus it made the beast looked elegantly smooth and complete.

Well done Jean and team, it looks A+

:D Thanks Leo , but we have decided to re-do the cowls, the oil cooler air inlet needs some fiddeling to make it look nice , and the top cowl needs some work to make an inspection lid , to check the coolant and oil without removing the top cowl.
Will post pics later on.

We are progressing nicely with the Renegade, second wing has been skinned, fuel tanks made, fuel tank bays prepped for fitting of tanks. Instrument panel planning done, now to have the panel blank CNC cut, to accept the instruments. Engine cowls almost ready for topcoat. Brake master cylinders and brake pipes to be fitted by end of this week.

Very impressive Jean,

looks to be a superb airplane.
Can you give a brief break-down of the differences between the Renegade and the Maverick?

Keep the photos coming.....we are all eager to see.

Well done thus far.

I have been asked this question a number of times ...
Maybe this will clarify the matter.

This project is very near completion, ailerons and flaps still to skin,......then into the paint shop =D> A friend has put enormous effort into making new plugs and molds for the top and bottom engine cowls, they are going to make top notch cowls. 👍
Pictures will be posted as soon as the painting is done. Merry festive season to all.

Here are a couple of photos to show how much space this aircraft has for those very tall folks. My firend is two meters tall in his shoes, we measured him. There is ample headroom , no shortage of legroom either. The door is big enough that my friend had no trouble entering and getting out. BTW I am exactly 6 ft in my shoes , see how I fit under the wing. Hopefully we will have the Renegade painted by end January, then re-assembly will take place and application for a PFA for ZU-IYK :D

As promised , here are some photos giving an indication of what the color scheme will be.
A silver line is to be added where the 2 colors meet. In 2 of the pictures you can see the metallic effect in the black and orange.
Enjoy
