My gen 3 2200 with 260hrs is running too cold. After climbout at cruise oil temp is hardly at 60deg. All else in green...... any ideas or suggestions?

Hennie, if an instrument gives strange readings; suspect the instrument (and the transmitter) first.

My advice, before you do anything else. Dunk the oil temp sensor (connected to gauge/EFIS) in boiling water: if you get about 95*C in Nigel, that would be about right.

If gauge is accurate, fit the thermostat to control temperature.
