The Flying Legend Tucano Replica is an Italian light-sport aircraft, designed and produced by Flying Legend of Caltagirone and introduced at the AERO Friedrichshafen show in 2011.
The aircraft is supplied as a kit for amateur construction or as a complete ready-to-fly-aircraft.
The Aircraft is powered by Rotax 912 with add on Mechanical Compressor (Supercharger) producing 135HP or with a Rotax 915.
Currently in 2021 there are 2 flying in South Africa and 2 kits being built.

Hi All,
I have done about 140 Hours so far on ZU-TUK and going very well.
Craig will be flying his Tucano soon ( ZU-TUC ) . He is just busy with final touches and then Maiden flight.
Marius still has a long way to go with his Tucano, hopefully some day there will be 4 flying in SA.

Just for interest there is another Tucano up in Joburg area that is for sale at about one third the price I paid for my plane.
I did my conversion on this Tucano about 2 years ago and it fly's great. It has a bit better performance than my one as it has the FlyGas super charger.
If anyone is interested in this Tucano send me a message and I can connect you with the seller.
Whoever buys this one will get a bargain of a lifetime.
With the poor ZAR to Euro and other factors a Tucano Replica like my one with the same avionics will cost you about 2.5M.
