Hello everyone,
I recently got my RPL, yay, but still confused about the ROC. I started my own business as a photographer this year, so it's only me, but do I still need to get a ROC or Umbrella ROC to operate commercially? Not sure what to next...
Kind regards,
Nadia L

Re: ROC for one person business?
Apparently you still need a ROC, either your own or an Umbrella one. Problem is that if you fly under someone elses ROC, it would most probably cost you more than you would make as a photographer. Setting up your own ROC would most probably take a long time and a lot of money. Our drone laws don't favour the small business man... or the hobbyist wanting to make a few bucks from his photography hobby.
