Drone law compliance

Unread post by Ikkd »

I just wanted to know regarding these strict and downright ridiculous laws South Africa has against drones, are there any people who actually follow them, and for those who don't, have you faced any consequences or had any concerns?

You are opening this up for a huge emotional response from many people on both sides of the coin...

There are quite a few topics on this section of the forum about the laws, prosecutions etc. Check them out and you can read up many good points made by all on either side.

But to answer you in short, yes there are plenty of people whom do follow them, both commercially and hobby purposes.

For those people who don't... Well let me put it this way, one quote I live by in all aspects of life is...

"You are FREE to make ANY choice in life you want, but you ARE NOT free from the consequences of those decisions..."
