Do we know yet whether these are just in addition to the fleet or maybe replacing the 3 E-170s?
I notice that ZS-YBA hasn't flown for a while and seems to be stored outside Hangar 8 at SAA Tech.

They are being dismantled in the yard next to the Global fence.

Very sad to see them go, but as they say, all things must come to an end. It was bound to happen at some point or another for the old Jetstreams.

Related to Airlink, it looks like the next E195 to come online will be ZS-YDG.

What ever happend to the cargo ops using converted J-41 I wonder 🤔
In the battle between aeroplanes and the ground. The ground has yet to lose.

Aviation would be great, if it wouldn't be for passengers.

Spotted her at the hangars with a missing rudder fin. It seems that she's being scrapped :(

Also, I saw a Kulula B738 at the Safair hangars. Is ZS-ZWE going to Safair?

The kulula aircraft that you saw was ZS-OAP.

ZS-ZWE left JNB for the Indonesia Airforce in September

I flew -YZA on Sunday evening JNB-GRJ...the seat lay-out seemed different with 11 Business class seats (same as the E195s?)

Was on -YZD Friday evening, was all-economy lay-out

It seems aircraft are keeping the same configuration as the previous operators.

ZSYZD/E ex-Azul = 106 all economy
ZS-YZA/C (I assume the 3rd aircraft will become YZB) ex Aeromexico = 11 Business + 88 Economy

I presume ZS-VDB, 737-300 is operating it's last services for Airlink today...both JNB-GRJ and JNB-DUR scheduled for E190s from tomorrow onwards.
