He was the main or only shareholder in McDonald's South Africa. Not sure about Burger King, but it doesn't look like it.Whirly wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 7:19 pm Is Cyril still a shareholder in Burger King ?(or was he ever?).

Why oh why would you befoul your body by stuffing buggar king into it?
Or even McGonads?
In a country with amazing meat, what has gone wrong with your life to visit such a place?
If you have a death wish, rather buy a Jabi..
(or a Robinson)

Re: Did you know...
This bring back sweet memories. We used to stuff 20-30 Chappies in our mouths at once to have enough reading material for a couple of minutes. I even won a Chappies competition back then and the price was a shoe box full of Chappies. Must start chewing Chappies again!

There I agree. Especially in the drier areas like the Karoo for lamb and Kalahari/Nam for beef . Free range of course.cage wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 10:55 pm Why oh why would you befoul your body by stuffing buggar king into it?

Interestingly enough their patties are made in SA (Burger King)
Just for the record I never eat BK or McD, maybe once every 2 years...

Don't think its the molding thing. After all they used to be made in SA> My guess applies to all the products mentioned in this thread that are now foreign made.Fransw wrote: Thu May 11, 2023 11:02 amTaking a wild guess, something to do with injection molding equipment used to make the honey comb thing?
