Radio Licence vailidity?
I am an ex PPL pilot that is now involved in Paragliding. Completed my restricted radio licence way back in 2000 but am unsure if this licence remains valid as long as I have a valid NPL or if it must be renewed? If someone could advise or point me to the relevant legislation would be much appreciated.

Re: Radio Licence vailidity?
As long as you achieved your restricted radio license by means of a language proficiency test score of 6 (most likely) it will remain valid with the SACAA indefinitely. If it was achieved with a higher education certificate and an affidavit then it was valid for 1 year as far as I can remember, but pretty sure on that point.DoctorGonzo wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 2:15 pm I am an ex PPL pilot that is now involved in Paragliding.
