PUDO

Unread post by GeraldNagel »

It may be the first time someone refers to the service of PUDO.

During the recent months through the festive season we sent 33 packages problem free except for two that did not really understand the system. One was dleivered to the receiver's house to assit at no cost.

Pudo is handled by Courier guy which I used with business deliveries. Excellent service.

Due to the distance (27 +27 km) we have to travel to send POSTNET it was a problem. Then we were charged for a package R250 that were size weight exceeding the R109.00. It did not even weigh more than 3kg. If I sent it with Pudo it would have cost R60. From that day I have sent per PUDO. Takes about 4 to 5 days to Naboom for example. Closer much quicker.

I can vouch using PUDO and even carry the insurance as that is how much I trust them.

Hope this help.

I use PUDO as the primary shipping system for 2 small businesses I am running and it has worked really well for us. We have had orders deliver from us in Joburg to remote areas in Durban the very next day. I am super happy with the service.

The only issue I hear from other people using the system for their businesses is there are some locations around Joburg where people have had their parcels opened and items taken out or completely replaced with other items and the boxes taped up again. Seems isolated to specific areas, maybe just a few bad individuals involved, we thankfully have not had it happen to us so no complaints from our side :)

I use mainly Pudo.

Few days back sent off some parts. When I stopped I found a Locker door open with parcell in it. Wet as Cape Town had serious rain past few weeks now.

Some elements was standing few meters away and fortunately didn't notice it.

I tried closing the door but kept opening. So I removed the item. Fortunately there was a name and number.

Anways. The receiver received sms and went to collect but didn't want to open door. So she left.. reported it and a tech would've gone and look..

So just a heads up.. the locker experience issues and here was perfect example. It opened later when she left.

Lucky for her I she stayed few kms from me and she had a door delivery.

First experiencing a bad incident but were lucky the package was well packed inside. My sister sent a very old Netherland Bible with a cell phone wrapped in bubblewrap inside. The phone were tightly wrapped with tape close gainst the bible. It was place witin a Take a lot box but not tightly in the box. When I received it the box were torn on one corner enough for fingers to search. I though, that's it phone is gone. Anyway all still there as it is difficult to remove bubblewrap only with prying fingers. the whole box needs to be opned and all wrap must be removed.

I hope this information helps.
