Kishugu Aviation Division (Pty) Ltd is seeking to employ an Aircraft Maintenance Planner
Position reports to: Responsible Person Aircraft (RPA)
Minimum Requirements:
Own transport
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer literate.
Focus on detail and accuracy.
Ability to function independently.
Flexible and ability to work in a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Minimum Experience:
Grade 12
Previous experience/exposure to Aircraft Maintenance Tracking systems eg: AMP. AMS, Traxxall.
Previous experience of AirMaistro would be an advantage.
Job Profile as per Position (Key Performance Areas)
Liaising with pilots and base managers to gather flight folios daily.
Ensure all entries in Flight Folio have been entered correctly.
Update the appropriate aircraft/helicopter airframe hours in Traxxall.
Update Aircraft recencies on Air Maestro.
Obtaining updated status reports from various AMO’s.
Issue of Authorisations for rectification of defects on all aircraft
Carry out the maintenance planning and forward to the applicable AMO for action.
Ensure all Work requests issued are actioned and release documents from the applicable AMO have been received in time.
Report overdue work to the RPA to action.
Confirm work released on Flight Folio corresponds to release documents issued.
Updating the Spreadsheet to correspond with Traxxall for maintenance tracking purpose.
Auditing of Aircraft logbook records – liaising with AMO where discrepancies are found.
Ensure maintenance schedules are up to date.
Act as custodian of aircraft records in library as well as other files in library.
