The holes are too close to each other.

Ok for the sake of asking, how high,or to make it simple, how far off the ground was the HELICOPTER when it was shot at.

Ok I don’t know , but can only assume from where that notice came . Firstly most chopper pilots are afraid of heights 🤣 secondly the area has been discussed, Jim et al knows that area well and can draw a conclusion it is below the PE TMA in an area that would average an elevation of around 1000’ given the TMA starts at 2500’ I would hazard a guess the chopper was around 500 to a max of 1500’AGL. Again I am not a chopper pilot but as an ex ATC I know they often operate at 500’AGL or below. Why , instead of taking heed of the notice , does everyone want to claim to be air law and ballistics specialists🤔

Interesting those optics on shotguns! a low flying chopper is an easy target for any gun/rifle...

Let's make some assumptions.

I want to speculate that the helicopter was no more than 20 m above the ground and stationary, or perhaps moving in on a stolen car.

For any civilian shooter to hit an aircraft in flight is nothing short of miraculous. No ways he was 500 ft AGL and in the cruise.

Ja that would make it a proverbial duck ;-) Not difficult.
