GRIPENS AT WATERKLOOF AFB
Saw two Gripens performing a number of sorties this afternoon at Waterkloof AFB.
Any Idea what the occasion is?

Re: GRIPENS AT WATERKLOOF AFB
Am i being a bit synical when our troops are struggling in the DRC with a serious lack of equipment and support but we have our "front" line combat aircraft getting ready for a show of sorts!

Re: GRIPENS AT WATERKLOOF AFB
Parade CXD until June as per presser.
Correct decision regarding the parade.
Although the "Chiefs" still had a golf day, unacceptable, such bad optics.
Hopefully an uitkak parade and a 1 way paradrop into Goma...but we know that won't happen.

Re: GRIPENS AT WATERKLOOF AFB
Multiple sources have raised negative comments about the top brass having a jol on the greens whilst the troops are getting stonked in the DRC. Maybe someone has discovered that thing called a conscience and responsibilities to the troopsthelsa wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 3:33 pm And the did all this to ferry the aircraft to FAWK and then cancel the event.

Not a chance UD, on the photo posted in the media at the golf day, you can see the "arrogance exceed the intelligence" look!Ugly Duckling wrote: Fri Jan 31, 2025 8:28 pmMultiple sources have raised negative comments about the top brass having a jol on the greens whilst the troops are getting stonked in the DRC. They won't respond as they are scared they would have to keep and feed all the thousands of prisoners of war, these 8 boere will saddle them with.Rotor kop wrote: Sat Feb 01, 2025 10:35 pm I sent the SANDF a personal message and said they should rather send a Toyota cruiser with 8 boere...and they will have a lot more success....I did not get a response...and this is a true story![]()
