Verification fee is absurd
Did anyone notice that from 2023 to October 2024 the SACAA raised the price of a verification letter from R410 to R990

Re: Verification fee is absurd
I just paid the R990 today only to be told that it is R650. I'll have to wait the 3 to 5 working days to hear it officially from them. I had a friend phone on my behalf for the requirements but paid already thinking I was smart since I referenced the fees off the website. That is the latest gen I have for you as of this morning.

Re: Verification fee is absurd
Although I agree that amount is absurd. I think they are cashing in on all the crew leaving to fly abroad.
What is also rather shocking is the waiting time for these letters. It's pathetic. This process should be automated by now as well. A certain authority in the ME issues your verification letter immediately upon payment.
