A HAL Cheetah is an Indian licence-built version of the SA 315B Lama (according to Wiki).

VT-EJS appears to have been built in 1986:

Never ever thought I would catch Whirly out on Alouette info :wink: :wink:
P.S. I have another even more interesting Alou coming up in my next post .. it may even be older than Whirly :)

First time I have ever photographed a Cambodian registered aircraft...
According to the data plate, this one was built February 1960

Yes, 8 months older than what I am. :lol:

It is with Johan Lok now and is for sale in the classified section.

My own Alo II, ZU-RBH, is a 1963 313B.
