Thanks for the post Darryl, very interesting to hear the facts, I remember this pic being published in a local SA paper back then.

I am a little confused about the missing roof racks, containing chickens, goats and bicycles etc on the pictures posted on this thread? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I think it was most impressive, seeing that it was legal and well planned. I also love the B707. Beautiful aircraft. I would also like to point out how funny your father was. I had the record Zonke Chilapalapa. The funniest recording ever. Especially the Samson and Delightful one.

I had the record Zonke Chilapalapa. The funniest recording ever. Especially the Samson and Delightful one.

I was wonderning this morning if there was any relation to the Chilapalapa records seeing the sirname, my Mom has a whole collection of these records - they are brilliant, I was born in Rhodesia and grew up in SA but I can apprecaite the humour =D> =D>
