Taylorcraft N96048 Restoration

Unread post by CFLEEPIO »

Hi Guys,

I'm going to attempt to document the restoration of my Taylorcraft BC-12D N96048, serial no. 8348 in this thread. I want to point out all my issues and good moments, also try to give some idea of the costs and what tools etc. are needed. Stand by for Post #1, I will try to make this a weekly issue. I hope you all enjoy the journey as much as I think I'm going to (misguided...maybe, optimist....yes!). :D

See you all soon,
Charles

Keep em flying!

Agreed, what's happening? This is one of my favourite "old timer" aircraft so would love to see a rebuild thread on it.

Good luck.

Unfortunately Cfleepio (my brother-in law Charles Flee) passed away a year ago so no work has been done on this aircraft at all. It may come up for sale as a restoration project - watch this space
