Re: Pics of Samba's
Just to clear up any potential misunderstanding:'
The Smaba 1 and the Samba XL are two different planes, where the Samba XL was a natural evolution on the Samba 1, but it has Electric Flaps, Bigger Cockpit, Sleeker Body, and Canopy opens Forward, so you can't jump out.
And although it is the most awesome plane, it is not a good idea to spin them, or to fly close to stall while chatting to your buddy.
They are slippery.
So the speed changes quickly if you are not watching.
I think the greatest selling-point of these planes, is their Control-Harmony. Not only harmony between the various input forces and distance the stick or the peddles travel, and the resultant movement of the aeroplane, but just the way it responds to control-inputs, is exceptionally smooth, you think it, it does it.
It has excellent lift at MAUW, which is dangerous when people think it can just do anything, because it can't.
I always fly early in the mornings, with limited fuel if I carry a heavy passenger.
