That is a very pretty aeroplane. If it flies as nicely as the others you guys have a lot to be proud of. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

James and the rest of the TAF team.

Am sure you know - nearly all of avcom land is right behind you guys!! Despite this hiccup, maybe CAA sees the significance of what you guys are doing putting SA on the LSA aircraft map and grants you the 25hr test period.

Sunrise is around 7am in Jhb, so you could have done an hours flying by the time you get to CAA. Just crack on, stay focussed and get your new machine to Oshkosh. Maybe they keep the show officially open till you arrive...

And show us the popcorn machine we heard about... :D :D :D

Blue skies and atilwainds ahead for all at TAF.

Is it just me or is the sling 4 better looking than the original sling? Seems better proportioned. It is isn't that the original is ugly by any means but the 4 seems more special somehow.

My thoughts too - the 4 is a good looking beast with "presence" - it's an elegant Grand Tourer rather than a sports car.

Well done Airplane Factory crew - a magnificent achievement - whether or not you make it through the thicket of bureaucracy, in time for Osh!

Hi Team Sling,

Well done on all that you guys are getting right. You have a most impressive system going there, and your aircraft are superb.

I must however, re-iterate what Chalkie said... Take-off is optional, and hurry-up slowly.

I can imagine the pressure that you are feeling at the moment... Thing is, your products are already known. If you can't make OSH this year, it will be ok. Don't push yourselves into a bad spot.

Take care, safe flying, and great success to you.

Regards,

Richard

If it looks right, it must be right. Its a winner !! =D> =D> =D>

Once your baby is safely airborne then the project is a success. Getting to Osh is not the determining factor in this regard.

Well done from all of us at MGL - completely, utterly unheard of performance of everybody involved. Guinness book of records stuff for sure.

Great looking aircraft. You could put this next to your bed (or your bed in the hangar).

Right - now don't worry about Osh. Not worth the rush. Osh is there next year as well. Get it nicely painted and dolled up and be there next year at the right time for an even greater impact. I want you guys to be around next year too.
