Thanks Dean. Are there any other airforce crashes in which a Newton-Thompson died ?

Google lists a number of Newton-Thompson who served in the armed forces.
Search Newton-Thompson SAAF

I looked at the SAAF Roll of Honour for the post WWII period. The only instance I could find is:

Thompson EB 2/Lt 25.11.75 Cessna 185 739 11 Sqd (Shot down during reconnaissance flight in Angola).

No mention of a Newton.
