hey wingnutter...glad you enjoyed it. What a crazy introduction to aviation...flying in a bunch of sticks glued together with aap@#$ and even a volla engine!!! Surely a C152 would have been a more normal start!!!

Yip, pointing 777s around nowadays. You probably don't remember me - met you through AS, who was a family friend, when you shared a flat in Sunnyside during your army days. I was the model aeroplane mad kid - I remember going to PBHS with you to test your latest model glider.
Remember that first flight in the KR well - especially the runway inspection at White Hills and flying formation with another white KR (Garth Kopke?)
It might have been a couple of sticks glued together, but man was it a memorable experience!
