:) :) :)

Regrettably not!

We did a quick photo-shoot over that small dam just north of Rustenburg in the afternoon after day 1. John Miller picked up from one of the photos that the rigging on my nose wheel door needed attention (see photo 2) - it had not closed properly - but only a few days later. Who knows, fixing it might have pushed us from place 44 to place 42.... [-o< [-o< [-o<

Cessna 172 IRL and the shoot was done over the dam to the East of FARG.

East? Mmmm - Bospoortdam is actually north-nort east, to be correct (40 degrees true from FARG).

Nice to argue over trivia, isn't it?

ZU-XML Saw your aircraft in Greensboro NC, USA. Truly amazing! I have seen a lot of international GA in Greensboro, but a single engine piston from Africa is a first. God speed on your journey.

Hi,

Bad landing some 3-4 years ago (clear pilot error on my side - I underestimated extreme windshear at Krugersdorp, the shear slammed me into the runway and something broke on the undercarriage, resulting in the aircraft getting off the runway and stopping by a hangar door metal bar. No engine or prop damage, but some damage to the wing. For details, simply search Avcom for the word "Nazgul" :(
