Unread post by JarrydZ » Thu Oct 06, 2011 3:33 pm

I have just recently upgraded my PC and now I have installed FSX. But now the problem is that I cant see any off my aircraft from views such as spot/locked spot etc all I can see are the lights flickering? 8-[
Is there anybody that can help me? I run Windows 7 Proffessional 64Bit if that helps [-o<

Hi Jarry,

Seems to sound like a Graphics Card Problem. Have you checked to see if you have the latest Graphics drivers for your Display Card? It's possible that with the 64bit windows, that your card may require updated display drivers.

Hi

Just also check if you have SP2 or acceleration installed. Are the default FSX aircraft also like this ? Did you install your addon aircraft from scratch , or did you just move it over from a backup ? These could also cause some issues. I had a major issue with my GForce GTS 450 card.It would simply not work with my new Gigabyte Motherboard. I had to get a new GForce GTS 450 (latest edition) before I got sorted. I struggled for more than a month to find the issue.

Hi there.
I have got acceleration. My graphics card is the Nvidia GTX560Ti. I have many addon aircraft which i am struggling to transfer over from my original computer to my new one. It happens with all my aircraft, addon and default.
If I got somebody in like a pc doctor, do you think they could fix the problem?

I wish I knew what to suggest further , but all I can think of now is to make sure the latest driver is installed on your graphics card. Then test it with some other high resource hungry games and see if any issues pop up. If all else fails you can only uninstall FSX ,and restart by installing every product from scratch with its original installer. Make sure you clean your registry before you start re installing. If these issues continue after these steps I would think it is almost certainly a hardware problem.
