I was at FL095, WOT, 2450 rpm and 75 deg ROP.
The wind was right on my tail at around 50kts. It's the second time I've encountered this type of conditions, on this route. Last time I did 186kts straight & level with 201kts in a 500ft/min descend.

Some 2 years ago Lila and I returned from FACT and we saw 232kts FL110 S&L Lop. She took a photo of GPS, will see if I can dig it out somewhere. If I recall correctly we did the flight in about 50mins. Took off from FACT before an approaching cold front.

Went for an afternoon flight in FZE (M20G - 180HP O-360 Lyc, with a 3 Blade Hartzell prop) - to fly a 4 point GPS run to measure G/S

Lovely smooth flight - in the JHB inversion smog

100 Litres fuel + 85 kg's peelot + Empty Weight 1,705 pounds (775 Kg's)

Power Settings 2500RPM, 23" MP, Mixture 50 Deg ROP, Indicated Airspeed = 122 Knots

Still working out the fuel flow/consumption rates

GPS GS Readings were

N = 142 Knots
W = 132 "
S = 128 "
E = 130 "

Averaged out at 133 Knots

Nice little aerie to fly - approaching on finals at 70 Kts, over fence at 60 Kts = :D :D

Lovely Flight!!
